If I were a dealer that would be far to little money, considering the time and paperwork involved etc etc

Have you been reading the whole thread?

That's $200 PLUS the dealer holdback (previously quoted at 2.8% of invoice, approx $775-800), PLUS a "documentation fee" of perhaps $200-500.

And a good salesman will manage to talk the buyer into additional profit makers, like extended warranty, glass etch/theft protection, paint sealant, fabric treatment, etc.

Dealerships do occasionally fail, but it usually isn't because they sell cars too cheap.

I'm guessing this data comes from nnanet? How can a consumer lookup all Z's of a certain package in a given area? The nissanusa website sucks for searches.

The reason I ask is, that while shopping for a Z this month, I seem to get the runaround from the dealer. I tell him I want color A, with options B,C,and D. He shows me something close telling me that it's all thats out there, I say not interested, he magically finds something closer to what I want...etc etc.

Also, I'm looking to lease. How do I know for sure if the dealer is or isn't padding the money factor and residual numbers that the bank gives?

Just got off MSN with John@Victory. This guy went so far above and beyond for me, without even knowing me, and knowing I'm too far away to buy a car from him. I now feel confident enough to go work a deal with my local dealer.

Thanks again, you rock!
