Default 2003 350z Touring....Rebuilt Title...Please advise

The last few weeks I have been looking for a used 350z to buy. A 2003 Touring with Nav and Bose showed up today a few miles away from me. The seller is asking $17.5k and it has 45,000 miles. I am sure I could talk him down at least $1k. Here is the link to the car.

http://kslclassifieds.kslcars.com/ca....carId=2450125

Is $16.5k too much to pay for a car like this? I will be paying cash, so financing is not an issue.

Thanks in advance.

With that many miles I would pay no more then maybe $12000 to $13000 us dollars. That may seem low but I have a rebuilt 03 with about 7500 miles when I bought it and I paid alot closer to $16000us dollars for it. But if you like the car then I would say go for it, personally way to high..

03 Touring with NAV.. The sticker price was around $36000 - $37000. So do the math.. 45000 miles and you get 20k off..? I think that's a deal!

There are salvage cars that you can buy, drive for 50,000 miles, and never have a serious mechanical problem.
Then there are those that will never be right i.e. frame alignment.
The risk is built into the price. If you are a gambler, go for it.

He isn't saving anything off a 03 Z, here is a list of 03's from dealers (and you know they ask for more off the bat, just in my local area, some are touring...and while the Nav may not be in them at least they haven't been in major surgery.

Personally I strongly feel you shouldn't get anything older than 05, just to avoid some of the issues they had till mid 04.

Problems mostly being transmission and tire feathering?
