Default Carmax lied

Carmax sold my friend an 05 Enthusiast. two days ago. He brings it over. I notice it doesnt have aluminum pedals, no hids, no traction control, or cruise. Definately a baes model. He shows me the sticker from the window and it clearly says enthusiat model on it. I know he can return it within 5 days, but is there anything else that can be done.

take it to a small claims court, dunno what were you thinking about doing to Carmax? Ask for more $$ off, since he did technically paid more if he thought he bought an enthusiast but ended up with a base. I guess it really depends on if your friend likes it or not.

It is the buyers responsibly to know what he is buying. Used cars are sold as is. Good luck on this one.

If they have a 5 day return policy then that car needs to be returned ASAP.

+2. Do it before the 5 days are up. I don't have a very good experience with Carmax.

If he has the sticker saying "Enthusiast", then he has valid mis-representation case. But if he can return it & walk, that's what he should do.

My dad works at Carmax and its only because they basically strip the car of all its got. Unless its too modded then it goes on whole sale where i got my z from. Basically people like plain old cars with nothing special on them. Sorry about the loss though

They're not very good with this.. I purchased my second Z from carmax. It was labeled an enthusiast model even though it's a touring. I looked at a few other cars same as mine it was a few thousand dollars higher. I didn't say anything.
