US Salvage 350Z
I'm going to take a look at a privatley sold Z, it was imported from the states to Canada (where I am now) and the guy said it's been in no accidents but someone slashed the front tire, and he had to replace the side panel...but everything has been replaced and repaired. But it is a SALVAGED vehicle which means that I won't be able to register it unless it has it's 'rebuilt' status on the certificate or whatever. So if it does have this rebuilt status, and it is transferable...how much do you think I could knock down the price from $25,000 CAD for a privately sold 2003 350Z ( I don't know which model it is yet, I'm going to go check it out today)

350z's are really expensive in canada and lots of people want them, so most will import it and buy it regardless of salvage because its cheaper than spending $50K at nissan

wtf? 144k on it? his odo only showed 90k on it..and that's the exact same guy too. I'm going to have to have another chat with him today...and maybe print out that ad to show him...thanks for finding that other ad from him.
I went to go check it out yesterday and got it inspected. Nothing wrong with the engine or anything...the only thing wrong with the car is it's scratched up..and the rims are a bit scratched up...like the previous owner didn't know how to park next to a curb. Was looking at taking up his offer and getting it taken into an autobody shop for a make over...but now I'm seeing this guy is lying out of his ***. He said it's never be in an accident, yet yesterday he was explaining when the car was hit on the side panel...I tihnk I'm just going to avoid this car.
I'm going to go check out another 2003 from a dealership for almost the exact same price...mint condition, comes with a kenwood dvd panel installed and everything...no scratches, leather interior. It's not the base model either,although...it's gray...and no one likes a grayZ... the Z that I was looking at yesterday was a base model and the interior wasn't even in mint condition and he wouldn't go below $24,000 for it...

I have a rebuilt salvage 2005 Nissan 350z Touring Roadster for sale. It is the redline color. I'm looking to get 23,000. Completely fixed at the dealership. Runs and drives just like new. ONLY 12,000 miles. Let me know

IMO, salvage vehicles run just the same as brand new. I have driven my salvage 350z for 3 years, no problems AT ALL. It is how you fix the car up that matters. I buy all new parts and have a PROFESSIONAL fix it. It is a given that the value of the car goes down, usually about 70-80 percent of BLUE BOOK.
