And around 3450lbs. I wonder if they have done anything to the suspension to stiffen it up?

Also seems like VDC is not available for the Enth. or Touring.
I guess if you need it for rain or snow, and most people who enjoy roadster lives far from it, it makes sense.
Still wish it was available though.

Wow, they lowered it quite a bit.. It's also cheaper for a manual, which is completely different from the Coupe where Auto is cheaper. Almost makes me wish I waited a bit, but I still think it's ugly as hell with the top up, so i'll stick with the coupe!

Plus top speed is mostly dependant on horse power, less weight

VDC is available on both models, read carefully.
its gonna be slower, its gotta be. its gonna be a lot heavier since they need to reinforce the car. but remember its a convertible, so its for cruising, not really for the track. unless u drive a S2000, hmmm...decisions, decisions.

roadster pricing
My dealer just called with my Roadster pricing. I ordered a super black 6 speed, orange leather, 18 wheels, kick plates...$38330. I was expecting a lot higher! www.nissannews has all of this listed now. August can't come soon enough!

Another interesting thing in the specs is there are 2 12 volt outlets in the roadster and the passenger seat is 4 way power versus 2 way on my touring. The side air bags are standard too. It seems like a lot of the things we paid for are now included.

I agree this pricing isn't too bad. Hell, the enthuiast is very affordable for a convertible with the level of performance it is offering.
Anyone else notice they don't offer the Liquid Aluminum paint as an option on the drop top?

Roadster Orders!!
McDuck Anyone else notice they don't offer the Liquid Aluminum paint as an option on the drop top?
So I am sticking with my Silverstone Roadster that hopefully will be here by the end of July!
I was the 2nd order in NY and we are supposed to see the car in July!

Just got off the phone with my dealer and later this year the Liquid Silver is an $1,100 option!
If you look at the Nissan Press Release regarding 2004 350Z Roadster prices, the Liquid Aluminum is not listed.
It seems you cannot order Liquid Aluminum on a drop top.
