Too many 2007 Z Roadsters?
Brand new to the forum (love it) and I am looking to buy an 07 or 08 in the next few months. I fell in love with the car after I rented an 07 Touring from Avis, drove it from CA to Vegas and back. Here in Florida I've noticed a lot of 07 Roadsters still left on the bigger lots, but only a few 07 coupes. Has anyone else noticed this in other areas as well? The prices at some places for the 07 roadsters are incredibly low, but I'm concerned if I buy an 07 roadster and try to sell it in 2-3 years the market will still be flooded with too many 07 roadsters, bringing down their prices artificially low. Are my concerns valid or over exagerated?

My guess is your seeing an anomaly in the local market.
If a Roadster is what floats your boat, go get it.
Sports cars are about having fun...not practical stuff. Get what makes you feel good.

I think the impending body change is going to be a lot more important than 07 production vs. demand for a 5th model year new car. When these things run at the auction there's always a crowd.
Thousands of people buy cars, minivans and trucks every day that will lose more value in the short term than any Nissan without batting an eye. Go for it if you aren't the long term camry owner type.

I imagine they ordered more roadsters due to your location. Florida has perfect weather for verts. This would explain the overstock. I didn't see a single coupe when I visited last year, all roadsters and lots of them. We defintiely see way more coupes in my area, Roadsters are the rarity here in the Lou.
