currently own a 2007 tC i bought new, but i want a 07 or 08 350z though.
i payed 10g downpayment on my tC and had the bank pay the rest and im paying the bank 254 a month and its set for 5 year payment and i was wondering is it possible if i can get a 07 or 08 new 350z? ill be trading in my car but not sure how much it would be . so far i paid 3'gs so far so 13g total and i plan on paying about 5-10g down payment more on the 350z since it was the dream car that i wanted ever since i learned how to drive . how would my insurance be and my monthly payment? im currently 20 and i just started building my credit at 18 but i think im under my sisters insurance because shes 25.

insurance is always different.
im 21 but pay 110 bucks since i got no tickets on my record now.
monthly payments, try looking for a monthly payment car loan calculator on the internet and play around with it. im paying like 451, some pay 800, some pay 200 (idk why lol, that must take alot of years)
btw your TC cost 25k after interest? ek.

i made the same switch.....had a 06 turbo tC, traded in, and got a 07 350z.....my insurance definetly went up even with my perfect record (no tickets or traffic violations) and that was with Progressive for full coverage....monthly really depends on how much you put down and the term so it's hard to tell....

$10k down

$254 x 60 mos = $15,240
You paid $25,240 for a scion? (You could have had a Z for that price.)
Of which you have paid off $13,000
$25,240 - $13000 = $12,240 still owed
The last 07 TC we took in on trade, we gave her a generous $12,000 for it.
So you are not looking too bad. You should be able to get out of the TC without having to roll any negative in to the new car.
And since you have been making your payments, your credit should be really strong now, getting you an even better interest rate.

He has no equity in that TC.
So it would need to be a cash down payment.
He doesn't NEED a down payment, his credit should be rockin by now. But with no down payment, your monthly will be higher.
My car was brand new, and with almost nothing down it is under $400/mo
with a decent down payment, you should be able to get under $300/mo
For every $1000 you put down, your payment will be lowered by about $18-$23 per month.

OP- You should be able to get a 350Z. Your payment will likely double+ at the 60 month rate. 72+ terms are an ill-advised option. You have to take ten minutes and call the bank for a "dealer payoff" + ins co for a quote (it's their job). Nobody here can answer your questions with the information you've provided.

well my car has barrly 10,200 miles on it and ill still be paying like 2-3g's more for my car payment before i get a 350z at december. and i have a few dents on my car due to some california bastards... who just hit hte car when they open the door. and ill be taking my car apart and selling my after market parts and ill probbly get like 1g out of it and ill probbly pay 11g-15g depends on how much i can bring in and i think ill get like 1-4g's from my tc no? i dont know if my credit is built strong. i pay my credit card and car payment every month up to date never a late fee or anything but yea.. and i was wondering does ur credit go down if u get a new car after 1 year?

Born in to a dealership
worked body shops and dealerships my whole life
ran dealerships
sold everything a dealership has to offer.
I hate the business, but I love the money
and here in Socal . . . TC's are a $4000 bleeder.
So whatever they go for there in WA . . . subtract $4000 and you have the CA price
