Default Lookin to trade my 05 for an 06

Well I found an 06 base 6m/t for 15,900 (carfax is clean) and I have an 05 enthusiast a/t. Anything I should check for in the car? I also did the KBB value and mines came up to $14,200 is that what they are supposed to give me?

Thanks

With the economy like this, no dealer is going to give you anything close to KBB, probably 1-2K less than KBB if you are lucky

what kind of miles are on the 06 you are looking at? that is cheap.

why not shoot for the HR and grab an 07? seems it may be slightly out of your desired price range, though.

Check frame for damages and make sure all bolts that hold the body together are original with paint still on them.

Wrong. I had a dealer offer me 1k over kbb. My car in excellent condition is 13.5k and they offered me 14.5k. Neither was high enough so I backed out the deal. What 06 6mt with under 30k miles is worth 14.5?

But to the OP what's the mileage on the 06? Hope its under warranty and make sure to always have the oil serviced at a Nissan dealership so if you do fall into the oil consumption trap you have the records to prove.

Like this idea most 1 year trade ups don't work out. The out of pocket expenses are excessive.
