12k? Thats roughly book value minus the mods. Not a bad deal. But like Booey1979 said, check the carfax report and take a few runs in it if possible because a clean carfax doesnt mean a clean car. But nevertheless still a good price either way

I would hate to be getting out of college and looking for a job in this economy. Because of that, you may want to stick with whatever DD you have now and avoid any car payments or you may just end up finding yourself living with Mom and Dad after you get done with college. Good luck.

That is definitely a good deal for a 2003 Track Model. Mine is a 2003Z Track Model with mods (Vortech S/C, JWT Cams, JWT Clutch/Flywheel, NISMO Headers, NISMO Catback Exhaust, Carbon Fiber Hood, Carbon Fiber Spoiler, original and NISMO floor mats and a few more things including complete maintenance records from the day I bought it brand new from the dealer with 13,660 miles on it (Even have the NISMO Cold Air Intake in storage also. I was thinking of selling it for $20,000 or best offer, but the deal you are looking at is a excellent deal. Long as it's been taken care of, and they have the maintenance records on it to show, then you are good to go. Also has a complete warrantied paint job by the shop that does the cars here for the dealerships and a 3M job on the front nose, hood, and mirrors to protect from any rock chips. And noted in #17, I have all original parts in storage also and all work done by Nissan and ZCarGarage with warranties on the work.

The problem with a car with mods, is that it is hard to find a buyer that will give you anything for the mods. If anything, a modded car is often worth less because the number of buyers willing to buy a modded car are fewer. Your best asset is the very low miles and good service records. If you have all the stock parts available, then that would help.

Note: And I have all the original parts including the hood and spoiler and all engine parts in my storage, with all work done by Nissan and ZCargarage with warranties on the work. I have not a problem with that point, as I figure some people might want it stock, and that way it wouldn't be a problem either way.

You're definitely right about the market, but then I'm at least in no hurry, haven't even put up a post. But today's market is in a bbaaadddd situation, and bad time to sell anything w/o a loss on the sale.
