Default 2005 350z Touring

Hey guys I am looking to buy a black 2005 350z. It has 34k miles and is listed at 16k. It is the coupe hatchback, however it has been lowered and has an aftermarket exhaust. Looks very clean. Here are my problem

Is lowering the Z a bad idea. unlower?
How about the aftermarket exhaust. What if some teenage kid installed it. Can it cause big problems?
Dealer wont allow me to get car inspected by nissan. They say on site only. Are they just jerking my chain or if I put my money where my mouth is they will let me?

^ Okay, so you think I should not allow anything but what I want in the inspection. Screw their policies you aren't getting you 16k if I dont go to nissan and have it inspected! Rihgt?

^ I hear you but I am sure they are just protecting against those people who come into dealers without a dime to their name. I have money(not finace) to buy this car. You think if I offered that I am paying by check that they would let me go. I have perfect credit as well.

What would you tell the dealer to get it to nissan?

As I type this the zr I am interested in buying is at the nissan dealership getting checked out. My dealer didnt even bat an eye when I asked to have the car checked out by nissan - they said absolutely. If the dealer wont let you take it to nissan, walk away, because quite frankly they are hiding something.

There is no valid reason for them to tell you no - a tire kicker wouldnt ask to have the car inspected, they would ask for a two week test drive.

The car can be modified properly, or modified with eBay junk. Cant tell without inspecting the car.

DONT DO IT!! If the dealer wont let you inspect something is wrong. I bought a Honda S2000 and the dealer WOULD NOT let me take it. Came up with all kinds of excuses.. Found out later the car had frame damage (luckily i sold it for my z)
