Thats like asking "is getting robbed good"
jk. Yes you should be to get WAY better than MSRP. My MSRP was $29,000+ and I paid $26,900. People here have done even better than that. Forget FL and call out of state where theres snow.

Id say no. look around, in certain instances, if your shopping at the wrong time at the wrong dealer in the wrong area, MSRP might be accurate, the car isnt exactly "mass produced" but at this point, given enough time and research, it may be worth you while to shop around and find someone willing to make some deals, even if its free stuff, add-ons, or even nismo stuff; they may prefer to make a deal there.

You didn't say if you are getting the coupe or the roadster.
You should be able to get the coupe well below MSRP.
For a roadster MSRP is probably a good price right now. Some dealerships are holding out for over MSRP on the roadster.

Use Edmunds.com for the invoice on whichever models and options you want. That way you'll know how low they can go. Rule of thumb is 10% of MSRP is invoice, which is what the dealer pays for the vehicle. Obviously you can't get it below what they pay, but you can definately get a good discount. Best times is Fall season, like now, since the next year models are coming out and everyone wants to clear the lots, and at the same time go at the very last day of the month-ready to buy, this is when the managers want and have to meet monthly deadlines and since they are out of time-last day, they'll give out the best deals.

Go to msn.com and click on the auto section. Follow the links specifing what you want, enter you zip and a dealer will contact you. I had to order one to get what I want. 2K under MSRP. All dealers here are MSRP and thats it, until I did this. I have to wait 60 days, but I'll wait to save that kind of money. Chris
