?

and i think one thing you guys may not be considering is the OP may not have the ability to find a better deal. most of the time when someone is taking over payments, its because they cant get approved for a car loan, but then again its really hard to get approved nowadays with the economy. i know multiple friends getting turned down. so taking over payments with someone he trusts may be the only option on the road to a new Z for OP

you said your in Texas and from the comment to Nexx.......you must be in DFW or surrounding.

I really think you should come out to a meet and really learn difference and learn from others.

We have a meeting coming up here:

and a

DFW tech day:
https://my350z.com/forum/meet-ups-ev...-tech-day.html

you can really learn alot, talk racing etc, and decide then what you really want........i know you mention automatic now, but if you later decide to hit up some track days your gonna wish you got MT....etc...

sometimes seeing and learning at a meet can really help you..

That sounds great. Yeah I'll definately see if my schedule permits me to go on wednesday. School and such. And with me living with my parents and them having to drive me. I'm a minor. The Z, isn't going to be my first car, I've had my share of a 91 Civic and then a 2000 civic and now a Z. So I'm definately greatful My dad is just going to sign with me and I'm going to be paying for a lot of it as I've been saving up for quite a while for my dream Z.

I guess I should look around more and take my time to get a great Z. For some reason my dad doesn't want me to get a MT, however I would really like one. We'll see if I can talk him into getting me one. Because that would be great, especially for track days as you stated.

EDIT: I'm also in the DFW area. I live in the Fort Worth/Keller area.

I've been researching a Z for about 6 months now, and I'm just starting to become serious about looking for a great deal. And yes I know how to tell them apart. I've driven several Z's that were AT so I have yet to feel the clutch on a MT.

The treads are lower than any other car that I've seen at 90,000 miles. Even regarding tire feathering. They're almost bald. Tires usually don't get like that unless you're tracking, which I know he has.

EDIT: I've already read through the top 100 questions several times
What are you talking about? I've never even seen tires (any tires) last 90,000 miles. I'd be lucky to get 30,000 miles on a set and I don't track it.

I don't think you know what you're talking about, but in any event I would not buy a 350z with 90k miles for $12k, but that's just me and you can do as you please.

Yeah I suppose I'm being unrealistic. I didn't keep in mind tires need to be replaced anyways. It's okay though I'm learning Hopefully I'll get my Z. I'm just going to end up looking around for better deals and Ill definately be looking forward to being one of the owners at the meets!
