be sure about the transmission. everyone says oh not a big deal but its a big ****ing deal if it happens. if you dont know how to do a tranny swap yourself, it'll cost you well into the four digits. check for grinding or hesitation shifting into third and or fifth gear.
also, the tire feathering issue, but there is a big thread on that
window motors are horrible if they're the original ones from the factory
just look/ask about those three things

make sure he knows what he's looking for. tell him word for word to look for 'a hesitation or resistance going into 3rd and/or fifth gear' or 'a grinding going into third and/or fifth'
the tire feathering, check the wear pattern on the wheels. if the inside of either front tire is worn more than the outside, and/or you hear a roaring noise coming from the tires on the highway, then it has the tire feathering issue.
im not sure how to fix it, i think its just a matter of adjustment but check the thread to see if it can be fixed easily. if its something that is just an adjustment or you just need new camber arms or something, then id say go ahead and get it if it had the problem; but be sure to negotiate money off.
if its hard to fix, then skip it

im saying IDK if it can or cant. i am 99 percent sure it can be, but it may require aftermarket parts, or just a simple camber adjustment with factory parts. not sure dude. i had an 03 that had it so i just sold it without even looking into how to fix it because im lazy. go to t he forums homepage, on the right side half way down the page is the 'most viewed threads' section and the tire feeathering thread is in there.
PS sorry in advance for this message if it doesnt make sense im smashed out of my mind
