Default Big favor be much appreciated

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum, so yea call me a noob, but what I was gonna ask is, Im currently serving in Iraq right now but set my mind on buying a z for myself when return mid october. Which i know is still little while away but hey. Anyways I was wondering if could help me find a pretty good deal on a car in the 15-17k price range, need a car in the milwaukee, chicago area because where ill be taking leave for 3 weeks when return and looking to buy the car during that time. Any help would be so much appreciate. thanks for your time

I would suggest looking in the usual spots (Autotrader, classifieds, etc) in late September then... looking for a used car now to purchase in 4 months doesn't seem like the right game plan.

In the meantime I would suggest browsing through this forum, particularly the Sticky's at the top of each section/sub-section... it will give you all the info you need to make an informed decision.

And maybe contact the Windy City Z Club - they may know of some cars for sale as you get closer to returning stateside.
Thanks for your service.

lol you can prob get a good deal somewhere if you aren't restricting yourself to those areas.

my advice would be to find one from this forum, you'll know if its been bagged or babied

to give you something to go on though.. which is what im sure youre looking at.. YES, you can get a fantastic car for that price.. but to be honest, you can also be lookking at an owner thats still too proud of his car at 17k.. many of our cars are still worth 14k retail.... but 17k means they had better have some seriously low miles. Use the extra cash to buy some wetnaps man. haha.. i know those are handy there.

SO yes, youre in the ballpark for a good car... keep surfing , read our stickies here and THANKS FOR SERVING IN THE SANDBOX.

Check the for sale section on here to get an idea of want you may want and the overall price ranges and difference between stock/slightly modded/highly modded/FI..etc.

Check craigslist once it's closer to October.
