Question Considering buying a 2006 350Z Touring

I actually purchased a 2005 350Z Touring about a month ago, but I brought it back after severe buyer's remorse (dumb I know). I've regretted it, and I have found another Z with low miles. It's a 2006 350Z Touring, one owner, 26k miles. The car is in mint condition, and the price is very favorable. I read on this forum about known oil consumption issues with the 2006 models. Is this issue prevalent enough to pass on buying this car? I appreciate everyone's advice!

Also I have another option in town. A 2007 Enthusiast with 40k miles. The sticker price is 20k. If I went with this option, instead of the 2006 what price should I be shooting for otd? I noticed the 2007 sticky, but it looks like it's quite outdated. Thanks again!

The 350Z is not for everyone. Have you looked at the RSX. You get performance AND reliability in a single package.

Why did you "bring it back"?You bought a car that was returnable?
By your posts, sounds as thought you are not sold on a Z.
Or,in the end,NOTHINGS gonna be quite right...

The dealer gave me 3 days to decide if I wanted the car. I can't explain why. The reason I decided to return the car was after reading this forum, and it had more to do with price than the actual car. I loved the car, but I felt like I could have done better regarding how much money I spent. Back to my original question....

-Are the oil consumption issues enough to completely avoid a 2006 Touring, even if the mileage is as low as 26k? What should range is a fair price otd?

-Is the 2007 enthusiast a better buy, even though it has 14k more miles on it? The starting price on the 07 is 2 thousand dollars higher... otd price range?

I know it boggles the mind that someone would return a car; I admit it was dumb, but it was influenced by a pushy manipulative dealer (as most are). I'd like to buy one of the two cars above, and I value the advice the members of this forum provide. I'll add pics of both soon.

I decided on the 2007 after reading about the rev up motor, and I like the color better. I attached a photo. They listed it at 20k. I'm shooting for 18k before TTL. Is this still too much for a enthusiast Z with 41K?
