Hey guys,
Looking to get my sportscar finally, wife gave the go ahead so I am. Looking at this one compared the numbers on edmunds and KBB etc. Was wondering what your guys thoughts were on the price. Lowest he wants to take is 19k, he was at 20k.
Looks like it is in immaculate condition, plus new tires.
Only worry is that its an 05 and consumer reports reports that year as horrible for the tranny. Is it just luck of the draw or are they pretty bad for this year?
Thanks for those that take the time to give input!

From the photos&description, the car looks well maintained.
The color combo is great.
The miles for a 05 car are exceptional.
The asking price is way out of line for a 05 Z.
However,as I have commented many times,prices on Z'S
will vary greatly by area.Sadly in the region of the country
that you live,Z'S tend to be in short supply. Also, with the
warm weather coming,a roadster will have more selling appeal
than in the winter. From the ad,looks like the seller does not
want to budge much on the price. You can either chalk up
buying a Z at a higher than average price to where you live or,
look out of state. If you go that route,I've noted prices of Z's
in the Chicago area tend to be much lower.Better selection, too.
On your tranny question, drive the car.If it drives out good,I'd not
worry about it.IMO,with that few miles(the car is just broken in!),
I'd think the previous owners did not do alot of hard driving.
Besides, your wife will look great in that black roadster with a
burnt orange interior!
Whats a few grand more savings if you bought a Z out of state?
Add transportation,time,hassle...
Go for it!

Thanks for the insight guys! I agree its hard to find a roadster let alone a 6speed that isnt high miles or beat up. How off base is the price? Are we talking a grand or so or more like 3 to 4k off what you would normally pay?
