Default Soon to be new 350z owner

Hey guys! In the market for a new 350z (might swing boats and go for a s2k although i would prefer a 350z if i can find the right deal)

Im working with 10-11k, so im wondering what year / mileage / type of 350z (touring, track, etc.) should i look for to give me the best bang for my buck,

For some odd reason, the only one that ive found is a grey 2004 350z touring edition with 99700 miles for 10300 which im not sure if thats a deal or if i can do better.

not worried about insurance payments, but im curious on the maintenance at that many miles...

let me know guys, looking to join the forums with my new z

all depends on the car, mileage and seller. I got my 03 touring with 55k miles for $8,600. I was in the right place at the right time. Had it 4 months now and love my car. Good luck with the search

10-11k? Thats gonna b over 100,000 miles for sure. Have u looked into what the z has changed thought the years? Also have u looked at s2k's. What r u tryin to do. What r u gonna do with ur car, u need a lil more explanation to get help. And if u buy an s2k 10,000 might get u an ap1 but ap2 is where it's at. Do some research pimpin

I can't be sure about your price range, but in general I think you will get more bang for your buck with the Z. I just finished crashing a 2006 S2K and so I'm looking to trade my 04 350Z Coupe for a newer 350Z Roadster! A couple of reasons I'm going for another Z over another S2K.

1) Being out of production, S2K prices are very strong (even going up for clean stock ones), but the 370Z has made the 350Z a pretty good used car option. I had my 06 S2K for 3 years and was very surprised that the insurance company just gave me $3K more now than I paid for it back then. Checking Autotrader its hard to pay so much now for another one. I loved the car, but not that much!

2) S2K is either fast or slow. No in between. That got old to me after a while. In my Z I can cruise around and enjoy driving quickly all the time, without staying near redline and banging shifts like I stole it. In the S2K you can keep the revs above 5K and rips every shift at redline and have a blast, if not it's SLOW. I always felt like I was beating it too hard, right up until I crashed the @#$% out of it

Good luck either way...
