Default Is 122 miles on 03 touring high?

Hi I just sold sc400 a while and wanting 350z a long time. I really want an 06 or 07 but there out of my price range. So I found an 03 for 11,400 but Im going to offer them 10k cash. To me, its fair. Considering it's a 03 with high mileage. But you guys think? Should I offer lower? Or 10 is fair? Or their price is fair?

Here's the information about the car any feed back would nice thanks for reading

You're supposed to average 12k miles a year so after 9 years it should have accumulated approximately 108k miles.

Anyways that is waaay too much for an 03

*Edit* Well they can be found in my area for MUCH cheaper

imo....
dont ever rush on a car- patience pays and Id mos def get one with lower miles. 122k will run a lot longer if you take care of it but Id still get a lower mileage one.

Walk to work. Heck, ride a bike. It's good for your cardiovascular system anyways. Dude, I got my 03 with 88K miles for 6K with a trade-in of my 94 integra with 240K miles. My 03 had a CEL for a bad 02 sensor and bad gas cap and that was all that was wrong with it. Patience my friend. Just wait..

122K miles is less than 140K miles but more than 80k miles. Check my math.

It all depends on your budget and what plans you have for it in the future. I would pass on this Z regardless.

I bought my '03 in March 2011 with 44,900 miles on it. I just put it back on the road today with 49,400 miles. Runs great and no complaints.

It took me a year before I found the one I wanted. Just keep looking and be patient. You'll be glad you did.

IMO your offer of 10k was generous. The guy must think he has a real gem on his hands or just doesn't know how much these cars have actually depreciated.

This x10000. If you're tired of walking, pick up a bike to make it easier and keep searching. 10k is too much for that. The car is almost 10 years old at the point alone, never mind the miles. And it wasn't a garage queen since it has 122k miles, so you know its seen some things.

Yeah I suck at negotiating.. I give in too quick. My friend tell me to just shutup sometimes and he'll talk lol I told the guy never mind though. I found an 06 in az for 11.5 and he won't budge. Damn makes it hard to be patience when's there's a redline nismo parking next to my stall and the other side a sick murder out roadster. I want a Z for cruise and put on some simple mods. I'll just save up more an HR Thanks for the advice guys. I really do Appreciated

Can you not finance? Just put 10k down, and finance the rest on a 370 or a 350 (07+ with decked out trim) That's what I did and no regrets. It's the best expenditure I've made all my life thus far.

I would but I'm heading back to college for nursing school and payments just won't cut it for me. I mean, I could just go get a pratical car but I don't want to lol

Every car will get abuse and be driven hard no matter what the description says. Even a newly 0 miles winter beater car gets abuse the 1st time someone step foot onto that car.

Btw, it took me 7 years to find my Z.

I got it for 3k less than the market value. Got some good mods and features on it. I never regret and till this day I dream of the car every night. Even a corvette is my other dream car and I can't even trade it for the vette.

Thinking of trading it in next year for a 370Z when I have more money and done with my other car payment.

But, it will be hard...maybe I just keep it and get a 390Z in the near future...
