Default worthwhile?

http://kamloops.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ517450666

took a look at it tonight - noticed the sideskirt on the one side lined up at the back of the car, but was out 3/8" at the front (forgot to check other side). Car was rear ended (not sure the severity), which was non-related to the engine change... also - it has matte satin black finish, could tell they didnt take the doors off for it bc of the tape lines on the inside of the doors showed clearcoated black. Spoiler is too heavy for the arm to hold the trunk up... and during the test drive it felt a little rough at the very end (owner claims its due to the low profile 20" tires.) has been rebuilt in the U.S. and since has passed two separate safeties in Canada.

Is it worth 10k? Is there a way to check to see if the car's frame is just about factory, or is this a total ripoff?

What do you mean by it felt a little rough? Have you test driven other Z's? It will generally give you a lot of road feel due to the tight suspension, but that is what makes for good cornering. If you mean rough as in the transmission is having issues than I would say it's a no-go. As for the trunk, you can get upgraded trunk lifts for heavy spoilers for about 50$ easily online. The switch out is quite simple so I wouldn't worry about that much.

If the drive train is good and the "rough ride" is really just the normal feel of the car than I would think it's a fair deal.

the side skirts not being even would drive me crazy, not a fan of 20" wheels, and the hatch shocks you can get from http://www.350zhatchshocksandmore.com/ (jason z-ya on here)

You couldn't pay me $10K to drive that POS. Man, keep looking, there has to be a better Z to buy than that one.
