Fair price for a 2005 Z
Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a Nissan 350z and I found a 2005 350z, white, manual, with 68K miles. It will be from a private party, would be cash and he's asking $11,500. The car seems to be in good to excellent condition.
Is this a fair deal?
KBB has it @$11,500 as his Craigslist post mentions but edmunds has it a bit
under $10,000. I know they are just guides, let me know what you think.
Hope to join the Z family soon.
Thanks!

Welcome. I'd say that is an honest price if the condition is as mentioned.

Edmunds always always always values cars much lower then they are worth.
Example they say my 2007 civic si with 40,000 miles with navigation is worth $8,000. They are on crack.
Look for comparable listings on eBay and what they sold for. Also in cars.com and autotrader what people list them for.

I would have sold you my 06 350z grand sport for 12500 about a month ago. 11500 sounds good if it is in decent shape. I was looking for 12500 due to my extra work. New tires, brakes, wheels refinished. Exhaust replaced etc. if that one has all that in great shape jump on it.

I bought my first 350Z about two months ago, its a 2004 Roadster. I paid about $7500 prior to taxes and all that other fun stuff. But the one thing that I wished I paid attention to where the small things like small tears on the top and the windshield wiper tank was cracked. Granted, Im not saying that these are common problems, but instead pay attention to things that may comeback to bite you.
