Default Touch-up paint smoother

I believe I have seen on this forum a thread that had information about a product that could smooth out the touch-up paint that we use to paint small chips and scratches. I believe this product slightly softens the painted surface and allows for a careful blending of original paint and touch-up paint. If anyone has any info on this product I would appreciate you sharing it.

I saw on a recent TV show a similiar product from Mothers Car Care products but I have contacted several Mothers resellers and they know nothing of it.

Thanks

i had langka and it did not work for me. It discolored my yellow touchup paint (Is300). I suggest wet 2000 grit sand paper, soaked over night and then gently rub the paint LUMP until you can't see it anymore then just polish it up with a polish of your choice.

I have used Langka on both of my black cars and it worked great. You need to be very patient with it though.

Just a thought....A friend of mine told me he uses a hypodermic needle to inject the paint into small chips......Anyone else?

Sounds a lot easier to do than the toothpick way.

fiberglass is a whole other story. you would have to grind and sand out all the little cracks and hairline cracks then re-glass it. if you dont it will just crack again in the same spot.

A 30-gauge or anterior chamber cannula works great for touch ups!
