Default Product Review-Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield

First off, I've got to disclose my bias in favor of Menzerna products. I have never used Zaino so I cannot comment on its merits.
I own a 2004 SB Roadster-a ***** to keep clean and swirl free, especially in the Arizona desert.
I use Menzerna Intensive Polish (rarely) and Menzerna Final Polish II (as needed), both w/ a Porter-Cable polisher and appropriate Lake Country pads, w/ really good results.
I follow w/ Meguire's NXT Paste wax.
To maintain, I've used Meguire's NXT Detailer, PPC Detailer, Turtle Wax Detailer, etc, etc etc.
About 2 months ago I tried Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield for the first time and like it BEST OF ALL:
-Virtually NO STREAKS
-Really bright/deep shine-especially on my black ZR
-Slippery surface
-Less static cling of dust
-No residue/smears/white lines
-Works well on my Enkei RPO3's to clean and make easy wipe of brake dust
-Seems to minimize/fill tiny chips/scars on front bumper & hood
-Price is just a LITTLE bit higher than NXT Detailer
-I can count my eyelashes in my hood, 3 weeks after waxing

I highly recommend this product.

The Menzerna products are great. I personally prefer Zaino with P21S on top. It is the IP and FPII that give that great shine and clarity.

mrZeee-it's labeled "High Gloss Acrylic Shield". I know it's not the wax/sealant, because I've seen that product. It's kinda like a quick detailer in application, but seems to perform much better and leave a truer shine than any qd I've used before.

dawn for your dishes
vinegar for your salad
if you clay properly, your surface should prepped and your polishing should remove whatever was there before

I dont think you have to dawn it or vinegar it. Just make sure its clean and free of dirt and grime. Clay it if it needs it or you want too. Then go to town with the polish. Note: I have yet to need IP on my car. FPII works great. It may take 2 applications but its easier than changing pads and products (dont use IP and FP on the same pad). I have used IP on the G35 where there were deeper scratches. The paint on the G seems much harder than the Nissan. I dont know this for a fact, but it was much more difficult to work the swirls out. Could have just be a "red" thing.

Well the FPII should make the paint "pop" with deep luster. Alot of people top it with Klasse All in One then with a wax or polymer. I use Zaino. Once you polish it with the Menzurna products it is bare paint so you will want to add some layer of protection. Some people prefer waxes and some polymers. I think waxes take less time to look great, but I prefer the longevity of Zaino. Throwing on 2-3 coats of zaino at a time has become normal practice for me.

If you want a good OTC liquid wax try Liquid Glass. You can find it at Pepboys.

Try P21S or Pinnacle Souveran. That will give you all the wetness and depth you will ever want.

If you are looking for something a little cheaper S100 is basically the same as P21S.

I'm not sure what condition your paint is in but remember that the key to a great finish is all in the prep work.

I think Im going to try that P21S....how long should I wait if I want to throw on 2nd coat?

So I guess this is what my detail is going to look like
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Menzerna Final Polish II
2 coats of P21S

Yes, I think using a white pad w/ intensive polish will be fine. I did the same and was pleased. A word of caution, though: always start conservatively-for example, start w/ Final Polish II a couple of times w/ a white pad before going more aggressive w/ Intensive. It's a helluva lot easier to go more aggressive where needed than it is trying to undo damage done (read repaint) by a too aggressive pad and polish combo. Yellow and orange pads should be used only w/ an experienced operator, IMO. Also, I see you're using a dewalt, and I have no experience w/ that machine-soooo, start slow, monitor as you go, and don't get carried away.
Final sealers are obviously a matter of individual taste. I'd like to try the P21S. Can somebody provide a link? Thanks.

I don't think you will need a second coat. I was VERY happy after just one coat and it still looks great after 2 weeks. I think after IP/ FPII & 1 coat of P21S will suffice and you will be quite happy with it.

That should work fine.....just don't use the same pad for both. The Orange and Yellow are too aggressive IMO for IP or especially for FP. The black pad should work great with P21S.
