Default Blackfire and Dust?

Just got my 05 SB Roadster and I'm about to wax it for the first time with Blackfire. Just wondering how the whole dust attraction thing goes with Blackfire or Zaino for that matter. I know must waxes / polishes tend to attract dust. How does Blackfire and Zaino do?

I'm a Blackfire user, but I don't think it matters much as far as dust attraction. Dust happens whether you use Zaino, Blackfire or whatever...

I have no scientific evidence to back it up, but personally, I think it's the act of polishing and waxing that attracts the dust, not the product you're applying.

Maybe it's where I live, but for the last 30 years or so that I've been polishing my cars I always noticed that if I polish it today, tomorrow morning I will see a fine dusting of pollen, dust, bugs, etc. on it.

Get a California Duster and use it to remove the daily attraction. That's what I've resigned myself to do with the Z.

I have actually found Zaino to attract dust. I haven't used Blackfire so I have no comments for it.
A week after polishing my entire car has a BAD coat of dust only using Zaino.
After topping the Zaino with P21S the dust is DRAMATICALLY reduced. There is some dust after a week but not half as bad as with the Zaino.

Just something to think about

Well, last night I put my very first coat of blackfire on and WOW! One coat and it shines with mirror like effects. I definitely plan to get a soft duster though.. that's the best way to keep the dust off without scratching the finish.

Actually the best way would be to get a good quick detailer and a good quality microfiber towel.

cali duster 1st then qd & mf....duster will remove larger particles

...and in general not sure if any waxes/sealants attract dust...your are just more apt to notice since you spent a good amount of time on your paint surface and now that its clean and shiny...you just notice all of the crap that piles onto it!

If the particlas are bigger than the MF and quick detailer can handle you should be washing it. :P
I'm not saying I never use a duster...just saying that it is safer to use a quick detailer and mf because then you have lubricant to help avoid scratches better.
