Carnuba over Zaino?
Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be ok to put a Carnuba wax(such as Zymol) over my 33 coats of Zaino, or after Zainoing, for final shine. I know it doesn't last long, but I rarely drive y car anyways. Plus I have the many layers of Zaino underneath. Good or bad Idea? I know I would have to wash off all the carnuba wax before applying more zaino. Thanks.
Since most carnauba waxes are cleaner waxes, rubbing the cleaner wax into the Zaino will some of the layers of Zaino, thereby shooting yourself in the foot. Also, putting an oil product (all carnauba waxes leave an oily surface) on top of Zaino defeats the purpose of the non oil content of Zaino. Anyone that has used Zaino, has got to notice that after you remove the dried polish, that the surface left behind is quite dry with no oil coating you you would get after using most waxes and especially glazes. This is the way Sal wanted his product to gloss the paint. Sal Zaino was a custom car painter (himself) for 30 years and developed his product to duplicate the look of paint just as soon as the newly painted car rolls out of the paint booth. Anyone that has ever had their car or even parts painted knows that paint that has been shot and dried but not touched my human hands just as a certain pure look to it, that is what Sal wanted his polish to create.

Since Zaino is a synthetic, you can apply a carnauba to add a different look.
Try it. I'd like to hear your results. I bet others would as well.

I have some Meguires I usd before, and am tempted to just try it once, on my rear bumper, because I will be removing it next summer anyways. Only problem, it's -3 degrees our right now....I don't think it's the best time.
