Default List of Products

After reading tons of articles and shopping all over, I finally got together a pretty good idea of what I want to buy and use on my car. I don't have an orbital polisher, so this is the best I can do in the meantime. Tell me what you guys think.

1) Wash car
2) Clay using Clay Magic claybar kit
3) Wash car again using high concentration of soap
4) Use Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze to mask swirls (At this point, I realize buying an orbital polisher and polishing hardcore would give me much better results, and I will get one eventually. My paint is in decent condition now however, so I think this should be adequate.)
5) Seal with Klasse All-in-One
6) Finish with S100 Carnauba wax (Made by the same people as P21S, only contains more yellow carnauba wax instead of white, so although it will not look as good it will be more durable, and it costs half as much )

What do you guys think? Am I missing anything big here?

Sounds like a good plan of attack.

However, the S100 is no more durable than P21S from what I have seen in person and read in wax tests. The P21S/S100 does give an amazing looking finish though

Thanks man. I think you might have misunderstood me; I'm not buying S100 because it's more durable, I'm buying it because it costs half as much as P21S . I just read somewhere that it doesn't look as good but gives more protection. I'd be pretty happy if it looked the same as P21S. Have you seen both in person?

The first time you wash should be with dawn dish soap, it helps get off old wax, road tar, etc.

Also when you use the clay bar, make sure to keep spraying lots of soapy water (use car wash soap for this, not dawn) between on the clay and whatever part of the car you are claying. It doesn't work "dry."

Also, don't drop it, any dirt specks it picks up could surface in the clay and scratch the paint.

Ok, I did misunderstand you on that point. The S100 is definitely cheaper than the P21S. I have personally not used the S100 but the general consensus is it is pretty hard to tell them apart.

The P21S lasts about 3-4 weeks on my car that stays garaged at night just to give you an idea.

Thanks man, I was thinking about washing with dawn dish soap, so I guess I'll do that. Thanks for the clay tips too, the Clay Magic kit comes with some clay lube (unnecessary, I know, but the kit is only 11 bucks so what the hell).

Alright, thanks a lot, my car sleeps in the garage too so that's a pretty good estimate. Speaking of which, I've never seen pictures of your WS6... post some if you have em, I love good ol american muscle.

Looks great! I have a few different plans of attack to keep my daily driver/outdoor SB clean.

Every few days as warranted - 10-15 minutes
Cali duster, Z6 wipedown at night

Every 10 days - 2 weeks - about an hour
Z7 wash/dry/Z6 wipedown. Interior dusting.

Once every couple months - about 2.5-3 hours
Z7 wash/dry/Z6 wipedown
1-2 coats of Z5
Probably 2 coats of Z2
Z 6 finish

Seems to work beautifully so far. For an outdoor car, Zaino is really letting this car stand out.
