Default Best water-repellent against misting?

I hate when it isn't a complete down-pour. Water "mists" up on the side view mirrors, side windows, and the rear windshield. G35 doesn't have a rear wiper. Unless I am going at blazing speed, the water just sticks and I can't see a damn thing. Zaino's not bad, but sometimes it makes things worse, with super-ultra-defined water beads that just cling unless I take a sharp turn at high speeds.

Any suggestions? How is Rain-X vs Zaino on glass? Does it cause the micro-beading also?

Yup, either Rain-X or Zaino Z-6 seem to do a pretty good job.

Just use regular car wax. You can also claybar your windshield and plastic. Such as headlights and taillights.

Clay bar the windshield then wax it, or just buy RainX like everyone else. You be amazed how the claybar and wax work on the windshield.

What's this rain stuff you people speak of?

Rain-X. I met the guy who invented the stuff back when I was 17-18 years old while the guy was selling it store-to-store for use on cars and display windows.
