Replacement for RainX?
I thought I heard that 3M had a product like rainx but it only has to be put on once a year. Anybody hear of this? Anything better that rainx?

Castrol makes a great product. It comes in a purple bottle, but I can't remember the name. Any auto parts store/Walmart should have it. You clean the glass in the standard way and then spray and wipe dry with this stuff, basicly like cleaning twice. I works great, is easy to use and cost very little, but does not last a year.
I'm sure a lot of "how long it lasts" has to do with where you live. We get a lot of rain so all the wiper action tends to wear repellents off after a couple of months. I'm sure if I left my cars out in the weather (sun & rain) it would be even worse.
