Any protection package offered by the dealer is worth about as much as an exterior wash and wax: about $60. Save your money.

Nothing more than a wax job and they apply it every 6-12 months for 3 years!

Zaino all the way!

From what I understand from NIssan is... If for any reason caused by a natural event your paint becomes discolored or ruined they will repaint it or repair the damage for you. That coverage also apllies to the interior of the car. Get all the facts about what they are offering you before signing off on it.

Natural: Bird doppings-berries-tree sap... and so on

Zaino will not protect against scratches and chips, for that you need a clear bra.

Seriously, get Zaino, dealer will not know how to apply it. Do a search, hundreds of posts about Zaino!

If you have Black, I would not even let the dealer wash it, they will swirl the **** out of it! Read about detailing here, www.autopia.org

The dealer sealant trick is 99.999% profit and 99.999% bullsh1t/hype.

At best it is a polymer sealant - in this case, it would STILL not be as good as Zaino.

(Zaino forms something like a clear coat as well. Read the zaino website.)

At worst, it is a spray on quick wax that lasts 6-8 months tops.

If they're doing the "interior protectant" stuff, it is probably just a scotch guard clone. I wouldn't get any interior treatment if you have leather.

Oh yeah READ THE FINE PRINT... usually what they don't tell you is that you're supposed to come in multiple times to get 1 treatment a year or something.

Even if they tell you they are "discounting it like crazy" or whatever, it's still pure profit.
