Default Cleaning oil off mats

After a brief scare that my Z was leaking a ton of oil I finally found the culprit. i keep a spare quart of oil in the glove box and the cap broke or I forgot to tighten it all the way. No my glovebox is covered with oil! I got the most of the oil up, but the little mat in the back is soaked. I keep scrubbing away at it to no aval. Anyone got any ideas on how to get all the oil up - maybe soak in detergent?

This happened to a friend. Depending on what type of mat it is, we used this non acidic Simple Green followed by a power wash with high pressure wand.

You can also try 3M Dry-cleaning fluid. It comes in a 1 gallon can. Works great on footprints etc...
