Question Wait time for Z's first wash?

Someone was telling me I should wait 3 months before washing my new 350Z. Is this true?

I just got my car Friday (Feb 28th) and it's been raining here everyday. I'm dying to wash it the first sunny day we get.

However long it takes me to get home from the dealer is how long I plan on waiting before the first wash.

Don't wash it 'till it gets dirty. ;-)

Factory paint is cured by the time you receive the car.

some say you should wait to wax... but not wash, and I dont agree with the wax thing either.

I brought mine home, washed it, clayed it, washed it again, and waxed it. no problems thus far. the paint is cured, and there is gaurenteed to be some bad stuff on there from train rides, boat, and the semi that got it to the dealer.

Paint is cured before it leaves the factory plant. Think about it... if you don't tell your dealer to not prep the car, what are they going to do? Wash and wax it of course!
