Default Brake dust stains on wheels??

Does anyone know a good product that removes brake dust stains on after market wheels(Axis Hiros)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to get them on my G35 wheels. I never could get them off. But I only used soap and water, I was too worried about damaging the clearcoat to use anything else.

Any pics of the stains?

There are a couple of things you can try,
Claybar, 50/50 mix of simple green and water, P21 wheel cleaner, wheel wax used as a cleaner!
Hope this helps.

Which one would work the best without damaging the clearcoat?

Get a soft brush and some Meguiar's Hot Rims. Let the Hot Rims sit on the stains for a few. Spray the brush with water. Shake the brush and spray it with the Hot Rims. Scrub away. If that doesn't work, try wet sanding.

In order I would try clay bar, wheel wax, P21 then simple green.
I have used all of these effectively on my Volk's!

Got a question for you.
Are trying to clean away normal brake dust or are you trying to take off some stained brakedust that wouldn't wash away with regular soap and water?

Thats why you have to get the brake dust off as soon as possible. How long did you wait for it too sit like that?

In order for this too not happen again, you have to change the brake pads to lets say Hawks, then your problem is solved.

Also use Wheelwax once you get the brake dust off.

Your just lucky its not on custom wheels!

Then in that case, use either regular car wax of the clay bar.
