this thread motivated me to buy new white/black pads haha

is it ok if i can just buy any kind of PC or does it really matter that i have to get a decent one?

i saw a decent one at autozone..for 39 bucks..so..but it comes with 1 white pad..so?

As long as it's a true random orbital buffer, then it's OK. If it's just a circular buffer then it useless.

it is true that a professional polish or even compund job is needed to remove or hide these scratches. there are two alternatives that may work pretty well. the first is zymol cleaner followed by zymol wax. follow their directions exactly. a new product i am using a lot in my business is red baron by production. apply this with an orbital buffer with a terry bonnet. the results can be awesome, and wiping it off is a breeze. do not try to use a high speed rotary buffer unless you have been schooled.
