Default Anyone try the Turtle Wax Ice wax?

If anyone has tried the turtle wax ice, please let me know. I saw it at Wal-mart for about 17 bucks and just wondered if it's good or not. Supposedly, it's not going to create the white residue that you normally get from a paste wax. I think Ice is a fairly new line in the turtle wax brand, so if anyone's got input on it, i'd appreciate it.

I use it. Turtle wax ice is not a bad product at all. It makes the black stand out alot more on the Z emblem on the side fender. And the black plastic that holds your side view mirrors. Takes me 15mins. to wax my Z with Turtle wax ice.

I appreciate the input everyone. I was just curious if this stuff was worth a try being that it was a little more pricey than the other stuff. I think i'll have to pick some up and do my car next weekend when i'm off.

The stuff is alright but not sure how protection you get from it, They also have a liquid clay bar. Has anyone tried it?

I'd say the wax is durable for about 3 weeks unless you garage your car most of the time. You know what, that's the only waxing product I'm using on my Z. I like it because it provides very smooth surface lying on the paint in a easy way.
i strongly recommand that and a ICE Spray too.

I finally broke down and bought some ice wax this past weekend and waxed the car. I didn't like that fact that you gotta wet the applicator before swabbing it on the wax then apply it to your car. I haven't had to wash the car since the wax went on, but we'll see about that tomorrow.

I use Turtle wax ice and like the fact you can even put it on in direct sunlight. I waxed the car about 5 months ago and find even now the dirt seems to fall off when washing and afterwards the car still looks like it has just been waxed. Only down side is the sponge applicator which soaks your hands as well - I recommend using some gloves.

A lot of people like how easy to use it is and how it does not leave plastic looking white. But you are sacrficing other atturbutes for those qualities. (i.e. durability) I personally dont mind spending the time on a time tested product that delivers real long lasting results.

This stuff is great! I love it, doesnt take too long, Takes me about an hour total time to apply, let sit, then buff out. I hate the waxy paste thats left on black parts and stuff, and this doesnt do it at all. As far as durability goes, it feels fine. Still glossy after a week or so, but then again I prolly will use this stuff on my car once a month, so I dont really care about durability or lasting time, I just want it too make my paint look GOOD. Isnt that what were trying to do with this stuff in the first place?

Alright, had a day off of work and washed the car...surprisingly it washed very easy and the dirt didn't stick the least bit. Had some (wax) swirls left on the hood from when i applied the wax a week ago, but they wiped right off. I've honestly never used a wax that beaded water this well.

I bought the set off of an informercial and the price was much better than picking the pieces up individually at Walmart. Check online to see if you can find the combo package.

I have used it and it was a breeze to apply and looked great.
