Default Using touch-up paint on front bumper rock chips

So the touch up paint comes with a 1/2inch brush and yes thats too big for what I need to do. Whats a good way to apply touch up on really small rock chips? Can you use a toothpick? I just want it to be smooth. Last thing I want is for the touch up paint to end up as a small bump.

Im covering around 4-5 chips. Nothing major.

thanks!

Check out this page:

Look about half-way down for the section "Chip & Scratch" repair.

Check out http://autopia.org
That's the #1 website for detailers. The BetterCarCare is owned and run by the same guy. Autopia has a great online Detailing Guide.

I'm not sure what steps you're referring to - there's really nothing there that seems to be "metal" specific. You're not looking at the top section dealing with rust spots are you?
