Default Looking for some advice about washing a black z

Hello everyone. I was wondering if im doing something wrong when washing my z. I have a 07 black 350 z and i keep noticing very small lines in certain lighting conditions. I use micro fiber towels, carwash soap, clean water and wax it about once every 2 months. Im just looking for some feedback.

There are so many things you can be doing wrong that will introduce swirls in a black car. It can be anything from washing, drying or waxing. Check out this post ...

That whole thread was about keeping a black Z scratch free.

Really clean the car. How much time do you spend cleaning it? Have you ever used a clay bar on it? Do you use a spot free rinse?

I actually dont let it get that dirty, what can i say it looks to good to be dirty lol. I've never used a clay bar on this car. I usually rinse it with water hose real good as well.

give ur car a lite wash.

no matter what, it is ur spounge, u just dont know, and most ppl dont know because of the materials that get caught in ur spounge. i mean, even lint can scratch a black colored car. just dont worry about it, if u think ur spounge is clean, still, wash the car lightly, dont press too hard. unless ur using a spounge right out of the bag.

depending on ur scratches, u can add a little spray wax in the end. but dont expect wax to take ur scratches out. depending on what ur buyin u know? it may just coat over it.
dont try to claybar or anything because that doesnt do anything to scratches. so dont waste ur money on it!
other than that, ull need to buff ur car.
