BLACKFIRE All Finish Paint Protection
I have the blackfire new car kit. I decided to use it today and the polish was easy to do. Putting on the Paint Protection was very easy but for some reason its very very hard to remove. how long did most of u let the paint protection set before wiping it off?
are there any tricks to it =( i cant seem to wipe the stuff off completely.
Thanks

I had the same problem. I tried it on my Eclipse and I'm guessing I just put it on way too thick. I waited 2 days and it still wasn't hazed over at all, so I just watched the car and applied Zaino and now it looks fine. Plus it was pretty humid out so that probably didn't help.
Maybe your using too much (i know i did the first time, a lil dab goes a long way)... i usually do the whole car.. and by time i'm done.. it already hazed and i just grab another MF towel and buff it. You can also use a quick detail spray if its hard to buff off. I agree with others.. give the bottle a quick shake before using it as it sometimes separates
I might have some insight on this one--maybe. I've used Blackfire for about 7 months now and in California I never had a problem. I recently moved to South Texas and got the streaks you guys are speaking of. I didn't apply it any differently, so I think the humidity is to blame. If you live in a humid area, you might try waiting till mid-day to apply the polish, or applying in the garage with the house door open (to somewhat air condition the garage). I have had good luck with the first of these options, and will continue to use Blackfire. Good luck!
I also have the same problem with the Blackfire Paint protectant. They even sent me a new bottle to replace the one I got from the new car kit.I have tried everything including using very little but it still not not seem to wipe off correctly.Red350Z I live in a hot and very dry climate and still have the same problem.I am going to call them on Monday and refer them to this thread. The blackfire polish is fantastic with no problems at all.

I applied Blackfire to my wife's black/silver Subaru Baja this past weekend. I figured I'd test the product on the Suby before I used it on my personal pride and joy. Here are my thoughts:
First, the Crystal Guard I applied two weeks prior was awful...it did not provide even coverage, really highlighted (I want to say created) scratches, and did not provide more shine.
To remove any Crystal Guard and clean up the poorly-prepped Suby paint, I used the clay bar. The surface of the car became very smooth and any traces of dealer "glue" were removed.
I then applied the polish (after shaking thoroghly), which did an excellent job of enhancing the shine and "removing" the scratches.
Finally, I applied the paint protection (after shaking thoroughly). Easy-on in insanely small amounts but difficult to remove at first - almost as though it did not set properly. Actually, I discovered the importance of using microfiber as opposed to terry cloth...the product was easily removed with the microfiber (per the directions) where I was initially using a terry cloth.
While I was pleased with the new depth and shine of the paint, I noticed that the surface wasn't as slick as I would have thought. Oddly, the next day, the surface was as slick as ice.
So, after 6 hours of labor I would say that I am pleased with the product. Now let's see how it withstands the test of time.
