Yeah.. I use similar stuff called 'never dull'. Its a metal/chrome polish I use for my pinball machine parts. Its AMAZING what this stuff can do.
Have spots or rust or stuff.. this makes it disappear.
I had the hard caked on stuff on the inner lip of my tips.. and BEWM.. gone

I wash them every time. Standard procedure; wash the top first, dirtiest last, the very last thing that gets washed is the bottom of the exhaust tips. They're always dirty, but they clean up real easy.

OR if you can find it, WENOL (from Germany). Turns everything black, then wipe off.
Never do this hot or even warm- it makes a mess.
