Default Which microfibers to get?

I am about to get my z (have a week to go) and I am getting to ordering all of my detail stuff. I am confused about which Microfiber towels to order. Is 70/30 better or 80/20 better? Also, the higher thread per inch count the more plush and better they will be correct? Just trying to understand this before I order. Thanks!

Humm I am not a microfiber expert, however, I will never use anything but microfiber again.. they are the best for me by far... I purchsed some from Costco for everyday detailing and some house cleaning...

I bought the Mega Pak from http://www.vaporcleanproducts.com/microfiber.htm for my G35c workouts... I love them and they are holding up well so the quality is fine and the price is right... I can't recommend enough the Waffle Weave 16 x 27 and "Original Big Blue" Heavy Duty Waffle Weave 25 x 36--these absorb mass water quick...

I also love the Microfiber Gloves for hard to reach detailing areas and the rims...

Hope this helps... there are a lot of great Microfiber products out there so get some and enjoy ... you won't regret it..

TC

I am a distributor for www.dftowel.com I am using them myself, they are an all natural fiber micro fiber made from cellulose and cotton blend. I never cared much personally for the polyester and nylon micro fibers, to me they grab too much at the paint and I just do not like the feel in my hand that they have.

The DF towels very, very soft, my customers can not believe how soft they are right out of the bag.

Do they have the same attraction or should I say, does dust have the same attraction to them? Throw out some prices maybe I will try both. Also, How many threads per square inch do they have?

The number of threads per square inch is not important in any of the towels you may buy. Some manufacturers like to quote these numbers to make theri products "sound" good but it means absolutely nothing. Why? Because the threads used may be of varying thicknesses so a thicker thread may have less per square inch than a thinner one. Also, are these manufacturers quoting the number of threads per sq. in. or the total number of yarns? Each thread is made up of a bundle of yarns.

What really matters is the content (cotton, polyester, nylon, whatever) and the construction (terry, waffle, twill, etc.)

FYI... microfiber is a term that refers to the size (diameter) of individual yarns that are then spun into a thread for weaving or knitting the fabric. Microfiber can be any fiber natural (cellulose for example) or man made (polyester, nylon, modal, etc.)
