The Cult of Zaino

This forum isn't sponsored by the Zaino Bros, so we don't care if you buy it or not. With your attitude, my suggestion is to buy all the products and try them yourself. That is the only way you can get an objective opinion.
you got me all wrong zoner. I was saying Bonz did not qualify because he has not experienced the durability of the wax due to his weekly applications. I think we all know who is the authority on Zaino. I think Sal Zaino himself might have a couple less coats on his own car than Bonz does. I am just looking for info.
Ron,
I can't believe you had great results with Mequier's. That is the first wax I used and I was extremely disappointed. The initial appearance was OK, but the stuff didn't last more then a few weeks.
The next stuff I tried was some wax my son gave me (works for GM) that GM uses on Corvettes. Overall, it was fine, but it is a wax and I was told by the body shop guys if I use it too much it would hurt the finish. They said no more then 3-4 times yearly.
So I ordered the Zaino kit; however, some older lady hit my Z while parked so I need to wait till the repair is finished.
Positive or negative I can't wait to report on how the Zaino turns out because so many seem to be addicted to it.

This weekend I sipped the Kool-Aid, or was it Zaino. I'm now a convert and will follow the cult anywhere! I have a 350ZR SS that is less than a week old. I couldn't believe how much better it looks and how smooth it is. It was a great day here in Southern California to spend on the car.
Sorry to hear about all of you in cold country that can't easily Zaino. At Christmas when its 80 degrees and sunny here I'll put a few coats on for all of you!

To be honest I've never really cared as much for any of my cars as I do my Z, therefore they were lucky to get a wax/polish every five years.
I'm actually looking FORWARD to my Zaino weekends. Is that nutty or what?
The worst thing is that my sister says I've turned into Cameron's dad from Ferris Bueller...

I started this thread figuring on hearing from not only Zaino zealots, but others who had alternate applications they had good results with.
Turns out the Zainophiles are a total majority.
BillR - I live in Crystal Point - right across the lake from you. I'd like to see your Zainoed G35. I'll send you a private Email.
I'll let you guys know if I become a Zaino Zombie. Unless of course, I cross over into the Zaino Zone, take up permanent residence in the garage and am never heard from again.

BTW, Bonz had to build onto his garage. The Z was getting too wide!!!!
Zaino appears to be larger than a cult. I've visited various car forums all over the net and Zaino is, well, down right popular to say the least.
I've ordered the Show Car kit--deciding to strip the TOC off my Z! Hey, does Zaino offer window stickers that say "Protected by Zaino" like TOC does?

That's my wife wondering if there will be room in there for her Jeep after I put my Z in there with all of it's Zaino layers.

All right, I'm sold. Any recommendations on what combination of Zaino products to get to start?
