No, no need to strip off the Z-2. Just use 2-3 layers of Z-5 on top of it and then finish it off with Z-2 if you want.

Default wash between zaino

what do you guys wash with between zaino applications? without harming the previous coats. I mean the car does get dirty between coat #1 and #50 right?

Most true Zaino-heads use Zaino's car wash, Z-7, which helps renew the shine. You can use any mild car wash, though anything that claims to leave wax behind wouldn't be a good idea.

Z-7 is really good. It has been forumlated by Zaino to be pH balanced at 7.0 and it will clean nicely and not strip off any of your previous layers.
