Default Aaargh!!! A nightmare...

Check out the pics. Any idea on how to remove those thing?

What is it anyway?

Can you guys recommend a product that will clean this, preferrably from the Meguiar's line. This is solely becuae Zaino is not availabe here in Australia.

i used meguiar's 'hot rims' wheel cleaner with a nylon brush. It worked out well on my rims.

Looks like brake dust damage, we do not have any type of cleaner product in the Zaino line up. Looks like it has etched into the finish a little, try rubbing it out with some rubbing compound.

what did you use on your wheels in the first place? there are certain compounds that you should never put near your wheels or what you see there will happen. so, what did you use???

(my friend had that happen...and it never came off)

Well, I only clean rims with the Meg's GC soap before.

And once with the Hot Rims I think...

not sure what those compounds do to rims. you might want to call the work headquarters and find out what happened. hopefully they aren't ruined.

Try a liquid compound or rubbing compound. Wait until the rim is cool or wait and work on it first thing in the morning. Don't work it in too hard, just lightly go over it and see what happens. By chance do you live near the coast?
