Hokie Z,

The pro and maintenance kits are the way to go. You'll get the primer to strip your wax and prep the paint. you'll get the pro application kit, have Crystal Guard wash for cleaning, and the Quick for maintaining that superior shine. (and a microfiber cloth)

Zoey,

some guy at G35driver.com said they charged around like 400 bucks to do a pro application on his G. Man it better be worth it. I wouldn't mind paying it if it really worked as they advertised though. I wonder if they did the prepwork on the car too like claying etc.. for that price?

For $400 I think ALL prep work would certainly be implied. I mean, if you're not paying for a complete job, from start to finish, why would it cost $400?

Default Shipping Cost to Canada

I am intested in buying a Crystal Guard kit.

Do anyone of you know the shipping cost (and tax) to Vancouver if I purchase it online? Will they ship to Vancouver?
Is there any more coupon available now? Please help me

first of all, $400 is for the application of Crystal Guard EX, not Crystal Guard pro. The EX is NOT available online and includes a 3-year warranty. for that price all prepwork is included, aside from removing deep swirls in the paint. some cars are more swirled than others which equates to more time. more time equtes to more labor.

does crystal guard do anything to the factory clear coat? most waxes/detailing products (i know its not a wax) say something like "this will not harm your cars clear coat". but i dont see CG saying that anywhere. thanks for the nfo.

Since I do live in the bay area I may consider this if it's really that good. My car has not arrived yet, probably late Sept but when it does is it safe to have it Crystal Guarded right away or should I wait a few weeks? I was thinking since it was just built that it needs to cure? Anyway how is the EX treatment better than the Pro? Is it just thicker? You said it's warrantied does that mean it should look just as shiney in those 3 yrs? So say I don't wax it or do any maintainence with the CG quick and starts looking duller you'd do it for me? One last thing is.. would crystal guard be more or less like Permaplate that dealers sell? How is CG EX any better? Thanks.

the crystal guard ex is a thicker, more durable product than the pro. Crystal Guard is a glass based product, whereas perma-plate is a petroleum based product. 3 weeks from the date of production is sufficient time for the paint to breath. And yes, in three years it should look as good provided you use the maintenance kit. (required step for warranty)

I live in Richmond, B.C. Canada and I am very interested in ordering CG. I go to that stupid website and place my order. Then, it asks me to sign up an account and I did it. It then send me a e-mail with all the field with blank detail. I logon again, and it says my e-mail is invaild. I then repeat the ordering process for 3 times and same things happen. This stupid site waste me 1 hour. I cannot even check out even I want to spend money on CG.

Forget it! I go with the zainos.

To: CG Vendor

Please do create a better site for ordering. The website is just confusing.

Hi there,

Sorry you are having such a hard time with the online store.

As some of you may have noticed, the server is being overwhelmed by the amount of traffic that is coming through these days.

Rest assured that I have my tech team on the project right now, and we should see some resolutions in the next couple of weeks.

If you are interested in ordering CrystalGuard, and are having trouble with the X-Cart, please don't hesitate to send an email
directly to Chris, our Distribution Manager at chris@customexotica.com, or to our Sales Manager at
jim@crystalguard.com.

As always, thanks for your continued support!

Are there any distributers in the UK for this product?

We begin to take delivery of the first 350z GT's in October and I want to protect my baby from the harsh winter roads and salt etc.

It sounds amazing

We are talking to a potentail distributor in the UK, but have not formally made a partnership. Pentagaon Glass Tech, Ltd is the company and they have tested and like the product. It wouldn't hurt for you to contact them and see if they plan on carrying the product. Helps us out by letting them know there is interest in their market...Contact Geoff Russell at 442-087-499749 or russellg@pentagonglasstech.com...see what he says...

That would read 0208 749 9749 when dialling in the UK.

it's been over 2 years since I first tried it and have had no problem on more than 20 cars I have applied CG on. FYI... I dunno about after 5 years but I can't think any logical reason that CG suddenly start damaging paint 5 years later.

Actually, I would think that it would protect your paint over time better than many other alternatives.
