I just got my Zaino in. And this stuff is cunfusing and too many stuffs. (I ordered the starterkit.)

But I heard really interesting fact about Zaino today.

I heard It's not wax. It's like clear coat you put in over the paint.

And you can never get it off, only can add more coats...

And my question is...

Can you use wax after you use the Zaino couple times???

and What if you dont wash your car clean and missed some spots... and you put on Zaino...Does the dirt stays forever under the Zaino coats??

wow... long way to go to Zaino...

Ji.

PS. anybody own a PPW Z.. !! can i see some pictures of how it looks like after zaino coat..and WAX... I wanna see the difference really bad...^^ Thanks

I used the Gold Class for about 6 years. It does very well. However, it still has the same downfalls as all carmuba wax based products.

It melts, and it washes off. You will need to apply it quite frequently.

Zaino is awesome, but it is extremely time consuming.

Option you could try is Blackfire wax.

It does not have a hundred products and steps, it is similar to Zaino, in that it can be layered. It doesn't take 14 hours to dry.

It is not a carnuba based product. It does not bead water which can leave water spots, it sheets the water, and has lasted for about 4 months on my car.

Just another option you could try.

I've used both Meguiar's and Zaino. I was very happy with Meguiar's while I used it, with the exception of it's durability.

I decided to try Zaino a couple of years ago, and am glad I did. Durability is much better, and it is much easier to apply and remove than Meguiar's. I won't be going back.

Zaino really isn't any more complicated than Meguiar's once you start. It looks intimidating at first, but I can now wax my car with a coat of Zaino and have it removed in about 30 minutes of actual work time (have to let it dry for awhile in between application and removal of course, though).

I have used GOLD Class since it's INTRODUCTION @5 or 6 yrs. ago and Meguiars Products in general since I started driving (back in the early 80's) The combo of GOLD CLASS detergents, wax, and spray detailers, are second to NONE. I don't care what anyone tries to tell you! I've personally put ALL detail products to the test on various cars/colors I've owned.

It comes down to this... For the $$$, these products can't be touched for overall fit & finish.
Also another item I use regularly is Eagle One 'Wax as U Dry'. VERY good in between waxes and removes road grime, bird shiz, oil, and the such effortlessly.

That stuff looks good but it's a pain in the *** to remove and buff. Zaino too, is a pain in the ***, but it lasts a hell of a lot longer and doesn't wash off.
Besides, if you just recieved the Zaino kit, it will be pointless to go back to Meguir's as you must "strip" off the wax coat before applying another coat of Zaino. IMO, just added work and time spent which could otherwise go towards another coat of Zaino!!

I've been using the Gold Classic since last year and think it's pretty good for the $$.

Has anyone used a product called "Liquid Glass" that I see advertised in Autoweek all the time? I would like to use a product that last longer than the Meguire's, but with three little kids here, I can't spend the time it seems that Zaino will require.
