Default Zaino and P21s

Has anyone ever tried using Zaino and P21s? I heard it gives you an amazing shine. How should i go about applying the two?

I've tried it on my black miata. I used z5 (x2), z2, then topped with s100 (same product). I noticed that it made my paint look deeper while maintaining the zaino reflectivity. You're car will also be less dusty with the s100 on top. When applying it, do not let it dry, it's a wipe on/off product. apply it on a circular motion for even coverage.

I use the S100. ( S100 is the same product as P21S, but marketed towards motorcycles )

I use a coat of Blue Coral Product X ( Not sold over the counter ) and I follow up with a coat of S100. It does make a darker color paint look deeper/wetter. However the Product X does a great job of bring out the shine that I could barley tell.

Sooo EVERY time I was the car 1-2 times per week I apply Product X, and I only do S100 once a month or so.

S100 is pretty oily, and I do not think is nearly as durable as Zaino is but it does make more of a nice shine, and if combined often enough with Product X or some other polish/wax will last long enough for htose of us that like to keep the car in great condition.

I also have Zaino, and to my amazement I did not like it compared to the Product X. So now I have this entire kit of Zaino I don't use other then the car wash and the Z6 ( I use that Z6 like water, obsessed with it )

Sorry no pics, I have no Digi Cam But when I get new wheels I will have one of my friends do a little photo shoot after I detail my car.

FYI, S100 and P21S are two different products now. Yes, for 15+ years they were the same but are no longer since 3-15-03. You may still find an old formula of S100 lingering around but if you go to online stores, most companies have switched to the new formula.

Does p21s make the shine last like zaino does? If it rains, would the rain just bead off like zaino?

I you wantto apply a carnuba wax on top of zaino, you won't be able to use zaino without stripping the carnuba wax on top. zaino needs a really squeaky oil free finish to properly bond. P21s will give you a dfferent look than zaino. Using the p21s GEPC and the p21s wax together will give you a very deep wet look finish. P21s won't last as long as zaino since it's a carnuba base wax. It's life span is also greatly reduced if you have a dark colored car and live in a hot weather like here in vegas. For me its durability doesn't bother me because its so easy to use.

So for hot weather Zaino is better? Which wax makes the car look better, shine longer and make rain just bead off?

Zaino will definitely hold up better in heat than most waxes. Polymers melting point is a lot higher than most carnauba waxes. Zaino's shine will also last longer due to it's durability. How often do you plan on waxing your car?

It really depends on how you want your paint to look like. s100 will give your paint a soft glow. It'll make your paint look deep and wet. While zaino will give you a harder shine like glass. As for beading, both products beads water really well. IMO, s100 will leave the car much cleaner than zaino because it attracts a lot less dust than zaino.
