Default Cleaning gauges and the dash?

What is the best stuff to use? I used Armor All non-glossy for the dash. It sucks. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I use Soap and water for the guages and dash. Works like a charm for me.

For some of the plastic in the cabin I use Meguiars Protectant wipes. They make the plastic in the interior look brand new. It leaves a shiny coat for about a day or 2. After that, the plastic looks superb!

I use the Armor All "Orange Cleaning Wipes". Got them at Checker. You don't get that "blotchie" look on the panel. Use it also on the dash. On portions of the dash, after cleaning I use the Zaino Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.

303 and Vinylex are the best on the market. Make sure whatever you're using provides UV protection (not sure if leather conditioners contain this - Kevin?), which both of those products do.

Here's a price compare of:
303

Vinylex

I would recommend not using the soap and water - it will accelerate the drying of the vinyl! Also, you really should have a UV protectant if you wish to keep the car looking good for the long haul.

303 aerospace protectant for the dash Scott. DO NOT use anything else. Some of the other stuff (armor all, black magik) can dull the finish of the plastics over time. If you need to know where to get 303, PM me.

For the gauges, use water

Armor All makes a wipe that comes in a white and purple container. It picks up dust and dirt, removes most scratches and doesn't leave a residue. Made for vinyl. I'd still use the 303 once a year to keep the vinyl soft.

I would never let anything, with the name Armor All, come near my interior
