You were thinking of the Weimaraner, but they are a greyish color.

what is that box-like thing that appears to be hovering over your car in one of the photos?

It's the bottom of a bird house, I'm a lousy photographer. Got so excited about the car I didn't notice it.....lol

That's a cool optical illusion. I thought it was a huge crate hovering over your car too.

Wow...all you guys w/ LS Roadsters! I know a guy right next to me who just got one...would probably be my first choice as a second car I LOVE those!!!

I just had my first Zaino experience yesterday. Got my dftowels and big blue in, so I thought it was time to get started.

1. Washed (Palmolive): I know, not what everyone seems to reccomend but it was onhand. The paint didnt bead any water and was "squeeky" to the touch after drying.

2. Z5 (two times). Having waxed all of my cars for years I think I got the "thin layer application" technique down pat. I allowed each application to dry for about 1.5 to 2 hours (it was a sunny day about 80 degrees out) and then buffed. Do you guys think I waited long enough? Seemed to be a haze on the car before buffing each time.

3. Today I will Z6, Z2 and that might be it. Maybe a second application of Z2 if there is time.

The car already looks great!!! This is fun

gooters, as long as the haze is dry when u run your finger acrosss and doesnt smear, then i is good to take it off.

I bought an orbital buffer and OMG it takes such little time now.

Toykilla, what kind, where and price for that buffer? Anybody ever had swirl problems with buffer? My first time with buffer.
