Default Crystal Guard vs. Zaino

I'm trying to decide which one to go with.

What are the benefits and downfalls of each product if any?

Anybody have experience with both products?

I have tried both products and prefer crystal guard based on easy of use and gloss. zaino will also yeild you fantastic results if you follow the right procedures but more time consuming. I think crystal guard has more shine with one application vs. multiple zaino layers. The downside about crystal guard is it doesn't hide swirls or scratches. Zaino has Z5 to cover those light swirls but also don't expect too much from it because it'll only hide those very light ones. They are both outstanding products, but i vote for crystal guard if you're paint is in pretty good shape.

Don't forget to clay bar your paint. It'll take out all those contaminants on your paint and will make your paint feel so smooth like glass.

wax opinions are so subjective. Both systems are relatively cheap and since you already have Zaino I suggest you pick up some CG and apply it to a small panel next to the zaino and see what you think

Thanks guys!

Dr. Zaino, thank you for posting the links to those two threads. I found them very helpfull! It sounds like Zaino wins in every category - ease of application, shine, durability,...

Actually, I thought I gave CG a pretty good review. Did I like it as much as Zaino? No, but it was still one of the better products I have used.

Thank Dr. Bonz, I appreciate the honesty. I know that must have been hard for you to admit.

I switched from CGQuick to Zaino.

I find the shine better and the car stays cleaner longer.

Zaino seems to offer better protection from bird droppings and bugs.
