The Platinum Club!!!
Well, it's taken about 22 months and 13,000 odd miles but the Doc has just entered THE PLATINUM ZAINO LAYER CLUB!!!
That's right. This morning I rubbed off the 75TH LAYER of Zaino from The Brick.
I know I post a lot of pics of my car and I'm sure many of you get tired of them but I just couldn't resist. This car has been SO much fun for me the last couple of years and I had to take it out on yet another Photo Shoot today to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Nothing like a Brickyard Z with 75 Layers of Zaino on it.

The law of diminishing returns actually applied at coat 2. Every subsequent coat improves the look less than the previous one. But the car is still absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could see it in person. I'm only 71 coats behind! heheh

you guys need to stop preaching the longetivity factor when you are applying more then one coat a month :P 
and squill, the general consensus I've read on my detailing boards is after coat 4-5.
Bonz, have you done a full dawn, clay since the first coats were applied? Or are you simply just topping from your first point.

yea 75 coats i dont know i mean the car looks absolutly beautiful however id like to see a brick with 4-5 coats parked right next to it and see if there would be any noticeable difference.
I have never tried zaino i have crystal guard pro with 5 coats of CQ quick over the last 4 months since the pro kit and my car looks amazing as well.
Has anybody tried zaino over crystal guard?
Would there be any benefit to doing this do you think?
