CG Quick on Liquid Aluminum?
I just bought my 350Z, a Liquid Aluminum Touring. I've been reading the posts on CG and I saw some comments that it looks good on darker colors.
Could those who have used it on light colors, especially LA tell me their opinions? or maybe post a pic?
Also, can I just buy and apply the CGQ myself? or is it always perfered to use a pro?
Thanks!
Genji

you can apply it yourself... CG quick is a great product IMO
i was skeptical too until i bought a bottle and tried it myself... just make sure to claybar and remove the swirls from your car... dawn again, then apply the CG and you'll be golden
the car shines like crazy even between washings... i haven't CG'd my car in 2 months and it still looks shiny as a (blue) candy apple

Thanks for the pics! Looks great!
Did you get the clear bra on the hood also? can u see the line?
I also have Racinghart CX wheels on my LA, but I got the aerodynamic package too. Just got the windows tinted a couple of days ago. I'll post some pics this weekend.

Hah, damn, lot of ppl with silver Zs and the CX!
When the car is clean you cant really see the line. It is more apparent when it is dirty IMO. I had my hood done custom because I didnt want it covered so far up. They cut out a 6 inch strip or so for the very bottom of my hood.

i have a clear bra and before switching to CG, i had to spend 15-20 minutes removing speaks of wax off the edge line
go with CG, you won't be disappointed... here's a shot of my car with 1 coating of CG back in April (i've got about 6 or 7 now)
it's not the best pic but i've used both zaino and CG... and CG is definitely more glossy... I wouldn't recommend it on a old car since it doesn't give that *deep* shine look... but since your Z is new, i'd definitely go with it... plus you can wash dry and apply the stuff in less than 15 mins
