Congrats-nice time. I'm sure i'll run into you at the track someday soon. The more 350z's out there the better! I guess i need more mods to keep up, but i'm staying all motor for a while longer.

How is your car running with a 75shot? How often do you spray?

Great e.t for a 75 shot. How much more sluggish does the car feel n/a with the lowered compression? Have you run it rebuilt n/a? Nice time, get your 60ft down another tenth, and up to a "measly" 100 shot and you'll be shifting into 5th for sure...

lemme get this straight...you have 8.5:1 compression pistons...and you ran 13.2@106mph NA??????

I find that really REALLY hard to believe. A Z with all your power mods and stock compression would probably trap around 106mph. But with 8.5:1 compression you're looking at a 30-40hp LOSS over stock normally aspirated. Have you dyno'd?

i dont think he would lose that much over the stock compression, plus the cams would make up for a lot. I just dont understand why you would spray a low compression motor...are you waiting for F/I or something??

Going from 10.3:1 compression to 8.5:1 is a big deal. The cams might make up for most of the power loss from a compression drop, but that still doesn't explain the 106mph trap since all of the other mods combined could hardly add up to 30-40whp gains...he'd need around 270-280whp to trap 106. I don't understand dropping the compression for nitrous either. The stock motor has proven it can handle WELL OVER a 200shot.

sorry to jack the thread,

I love the look of those rims on your car. so clean! you going to be at the windy city/gateway z meet this year? was looking forward to last years but you didn't make it. I hear plans of maybe taking a trip up north past chicago down a country road to some place... still in the works though.

He ran that time without the nitrous becuase of his MT street ETs. You used slicks on that run right? I think it would be possible. Look at all the mods in his sig plus slicks!

The slicks (or ET streets) can drop 1/2 second off your quarter. Just look at the launch, alot of good times (stock) on street tires have a 2.1 60' and he got 1.8 so ya...

I only have to ask 1 question, you are running 8.5 compression now, but I don't see any FI on your sig. are you planning to get TT or SC soon? If I was gonna run n/a with nitrous I would, if anything, raise my compression.

Gratz on the 12's, the "relatively" low trap everyone is talking about is due to the loss of horsepower running 8.5:1 compression. You got great traction/launch so now your 1/4 looks like a honda no trap for your low ETA hehe.
